                                                              Thoughts of What’s Going On

So this is Homeland Securities Plan for a massive Terrorist attack ... Walk for your Life!

If they were ready for a SURPRISE Terrorist attack...Why aren't we ready for a slow moving Hurricane?? The same resources that would be used to respond to a terrorist attack are the same units that should be responding to this disaster.

Bush is going to view parts of the disaster area via Helicopter. These are vital resources that should be flying in supplies and troops and carrying out Citizens... It's far more than just a single helicopter being diverted, its also his entourage of Secret Service and other government officials. He is politicizing this disaster.

What if he crashes while way far into a disaster area?? The amount of further resources deflected to save his sorry ass would be enormous.

The Bush administration doesn't dare officially ask the world for help...they realize the political ramifications it has.

I DARE Bush to use the word SACRIFICE now. I DARE him to use the word IRAQ. I DARE him to throw 9/11 in our faces again.

The economics behind this VA Funding is quite simple. The sooner the veterans that would require the expenditure of funds die, the less money they will need to spend on them. You must remember that the majority of the Republicans in the House and Senate, and the White House for that matter, have never spent a single day in any branch of the military. If I recall correctly, there is only one politician that has a child in the military. Since the Bush girls have graduated from college and are currently unemployed, why don't they join up?? After all, according to both of their parents, spreading Democracy around the world is vital to future peace.

I have been watching the news again. Boy it is painful to listen to their BS. I simply cannot believe the Bone-Headed statements and policies the government keeps making. For instance, Laura Bush acting like a Head of State in the mid-east. What stupidity or simply out-right callousness to Islamic culture. Women in most of these countries are barely allowed to be seen in public, and NEVER allowed to voice opinions or policy. So what does the Bush Admin do? They slap them in the face with a woman running around their part of the world telling them what they should be doing. Bush said the pictures of Saddam in his underwear would NOT incite any further violence in the mid-east. WRONG!! Just how far out of touch does he need to be before it blows up in his face? The Military Spin machine in Iraq said that the recent success of their operations near the Syrian border would greatly reduce the insurgent attacks throughout Iraq. WRONG!! There are more bombings now than ever before. Why did the U.S. enter Iraq without having a clear Exit strategy?? Short answer: We NEVER intended to leave in the first place. Therefore, we don' need no stinkin' exit strategy.

I am very worried about the attacks on the Judicial system. The Republicans keep saying that the judges are 'legislating' from the bench. It is the judicial branches job to Interpret the law. If these bone heads in the House and Senate knew the meaning of the words they were putting on paper and how to properly form a sentence using these words, then the judicial branch would not have to interpret, or 'legislate', the meaning of the laws the House and Senate have created and passed. The Republican parties attacks on Public Education will only exacerbate these problems in the future. The Republicans need to change the name of their party. They are not for a Democracy or a REPUBLIC, they are for Tyranny. They should change their party name to Tyrannist's and adopt a new party symbol consisting of whips, chains, and a hangman's noose. These symbols would represent law, order and punishment.

What are the Republicans going to do when they are the minority party and there is no longer the ability to Filibuster any legislation they don't like?? That's something I would like to see.

This country has not come to turns with the fact that we cannot fight a major war/conflict that spans more than a few months. The U.S. is a paper tiger. We simply do not have the manufacturing capability to fight. We cannot even manufacture enough small arms munitions for the war in Iraq. We have little to no heavy Industrial capacity and I doubt we now have the skilled workers to operate these industries even if we had the factories. Our textile industries have almost completely left the U.S., so who will make the uniforms for our draftees?? No steel, no ships. No ball bearings, no tanks. No Computer chips or boards, no smart bombs or aircraft. ... ad nauseum... I am sure there are people who will say.. 'We can build the factories to fight a war.' The problem with this little jewel of an idea is that the war will be over before the roof is on the factories and the Mexican flag will be flying over the parts of the U.S. that were stolen from them through past wars.

Predictions:
Civil War in Iraq.
Civil War or overthrow of governments in Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
Guam is Nuked by North Korea after U.S. threatens them.( I haven't checked the range of NK's missiles yet, but I am pretty sure 1800 miles is within their capability.)
Draft returns to the U.S.
U.S. Invasion of Syria. ( We would have done this already if we had the manpower.)
China will become the new Super-Power that the U.S. faces off against.
(Problem is they have all of the capabilities to fight an extended war.. We do not.)

My Uncle Clay was upset one time when he and my Aunt Oleta were here visiting my mom. Obviously, this was sometime back in the past. But, I remember him
saying to me, "Where did we go wrong? How did we fail our children?" He was talking about the failure of our society. He was blaming his generation for
it. I didn't think they had failed. I told him so. But now, I think I understand what he was talking about. The degeneration of our society is well under way and I am not sure that we will be able to recover in time. As history has repeatedly demonstrated, it takes some catastrophic event to change a society. We now have had at least 3 generations in the U.S. that has never known famine or plague or any other real hardship that strikes on the individual level. We are a pampered society prone to selfish excess. When history comes knocking on our door we will find ourselves totally unprepared.
