What we don't need are laws enacted by the courts dictating that the majority has to give way to the whims of the minority in the pretense of "protecting their rights". We all need to become active in voicing our feelings and beliefs to drown out the minority who stand up and shout for their "rights". The silent majority has to "make good use of it". Looking for Marines who were at or passed thru Liberty Bridge, early 69, probably early March 69. Squad of tranisient hitchhikers went out to help grunt squad. found 2 WIAS about 3/4 mile NE of gate in high grass. WIA Squad leader was probably a SSGT, Married, 30s with kids. He ordered his squad to leave them behind and pursue the NVA. Medevac at sundown.

when I returned from Vietnam in the fall of 1966 I reported to Camp Pendleton and as an E4 became acting CO and formed 3rd bat 13th marines at Las Pulgas. after it formed I became a member of India Bat. A short time later I was sent TAD to stagging Bat. and ran the moving target range as an E5 until discharge 1968.
